Clean Mobility Collective (CMC) is an international network working to address the growing emissions and public health crisis in the global transport sector. The network works with partners in India, Southeast Asia, Europe, US/Canada, and, more recently, has expanded its efforts into Latin America (Latam). The freight sector in Latin America is dominated by aging heavy-duty vehicles (HDV), many of which are imported from the United States and other countries in the Global North. To address this challenge, the CMC is working with partners in the US and Latam to build a strategy that exposes the problem, brings the right voices to the table, and pushes for policies that can shift the region towards a cleaner, more equitable freight system.
