#SaveEmissions Campaign promotes greener urban deliveries

Ecodes launched the #SaveEmissions campaign to promote zero-emission practices in Urban Distribution of Goods (UDG), encouraging the use of drop-off points for their environmental, social, and economic benefits.

The initiative includes two videos that explain UDG in an accessible way, covering its environmental and health impacts at national and European levels. They also encourage the public to support local commerce over online shopping and opt for drop-off points for online orders to reduce emissions, minimize public space usage, and increase convenience. The campaign also calls on governments and businesses to adopt measures like fleet electrification, increasing drop-off points, and supporting cycling logistics.

To reach a wider audience, the videos were used as YouTube ads targeting sustainability-conscious viewers and frequent online shoppers. The campaign successfully garnered over 32,000 views, raising awareness and driving action.
