CareGiving Month: The Women Who Carry Our Cities

This November, as the world comes together for Global Giving Month, BYCS is turning the spotlight toward CareGiving — recognising the women who care for others every day, often without recognition or support.
CareGiving Month is a new campaign from BYCS that shines a light on and supports women caregivers in low-income urban communities, who often face disproportionate challenges in their daily mobility. Through this campaign, we invite you to give back to those who give the most.
Building on the success of our project Bicicatarinas in Mexico City, BYCS is hoping to expand the program to four cities: Bogotá, Mexico City, Delhi, and Bangalore. Each city faces unique mobility challenges, yet they share a common goal: creating more inclusive, accessible, and caring urban spaces where women can move freely and safely.
Your donation will directly support programs that provide women with bicycles, training, and safe mobility opportunities - enabling them to reclaim their time, connect with their communities, and unlock new possibilities for themselves and their families. A single bicycle can mean more time with children, access to better jobs, and the freedom to move without financial strain.
