78% of consumers in India attribute last mile delivery vehicles to rising air pollution and climate change

A new survey across six major Indian cities reveals that 78% of consumers believe last-mile delivery vehicles are contributing to rising air pollution and climate change. The survey commissioned by the Sustainable Mobility Network, highlights strong public demand for companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, and Zomato to transition to electric fleets — and fast. With 93% of respondents believing that action by one company could drive industry-wide change, it's clear that consumers are ready for a cleaner, more responsible future of deliveries.
